Bootleg Ridge Hike – August 28, 2011
Seven hikers participated in this hike on a beautiful sunny day. After driving to 6200ft, the hike took a moderate distance and vertical rise to reach wonderful views of the Rockies, Kootenay/St. Mary River valley, Hellroaring valley, Mathew Creek valley, Bootleg Peak, and Mt. Puddingburn (VOR tower).

Mount Dingley Hike – August 7, 2011


On a beautiful sunny day, 19 hikers drove 27 Km up the Wild Horse Creek Road and hiked into the Mount Dingley bowl.  Many of the hikers continued up to the ridge where they enjoyed spectacular views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains and Sparkle Lake (Top of the World Park).  The meadows were filled with many varieties of wildflowers.  This 5 Km hike is known by a number of names – Mount Toma, Nine Basins, and Wild Horse Ridge.
